Dave Chaffey is an internet marketing specialist, an author, TV presenter and one of the founders of NetReach.
Over the past 5 years, Dave has built on an already stellar business career, diversifying into public speaking, writing and television appearances.
Most recently, Dave has appeared on Kochie's Business Builders on Channel 7 as a web marketing expert, providing advice on marketing for small business via the medium of the internet.
His thoughts on websites and small business marketing are also included within the book Strap on the Parachute: starting and turbo-charging a business in good times and bad, released in 2009, as well as throughout various blogs and websites across the globe.

Background
Prior to founding NetReach, Dave's role was as Managing Director of Visioncrest, a retail optical company, that he, along with his two business partners franchised and grew from one to 23 stores, before being bought out by a large multi-national company.
In his role at Visioncrest, Dave concentrated on marketing for the Visioncrest group (as well as studying it at Monash University); from the wider TV and web based marketing, through targeted database marketing, down to the local store marketing plan.

His IT backround is broad and deep. Amongst other projects, he developed an advanced point of sale software system, which managed all aspects of each of his 23 optical stores, and integrated with a central accounting, inventory management, and database marketing system. In addition, he built and promoted a pioneering eyecare website which attracted millions of worldwide visitors and was featured in the book "save the world for ten bucks"
