We're looking for an up-and-coming web developer, who's moved well beyond the junior-developer level, to become part of a dynamic and growing company.
You'll need to have certain skills and level of experience - that's important. But in our view, these factors are far less important than the key ingredient we're looking for - Passion!
If you're the sort of person that soaks up everything I.T., fixated on new and emerging technologies, and is always keen to roll up your sleeves and try things out, then we want to talk to you.
The Role?
Principally, the role will utilise your skills in coding, particularly PHP, Javascript, HTML and CSS to bring together websites and other internet solutions for clients. Duties include liaising with customers, constructing joomla templates (the designs will be provided to you), website building, and editing PHP and JavaScript code.
That's the starting point :-)
In no time, you'll be working with us to build custom web components & mobile applications, and getting stuck right into HTML5 and CSS3.
So, essentially, we're looking for that person with a good collection of coding skills, who's keen to step into a strong learning environment and really grow skills over the next few years.
Our Ideal Skill Set is:
At least 12+ months experience with Joomla. Failing that, then 12 months experience with similar industry leading CMS systems.
Object Orientated PHP experience of 12+ months, and ideally, understanding of the MVC development framework.
JavaScript experience of at least 18 months.
Strong grounding in HTML and CSS
Exposure to HTML5 and CSS3
Some Mobile Web Development experience
Some Mobile App Development experience
Image Manipulation (using Adobe Photoshop / Illustrator) is not a prerequisite, but is certainly an advantage.

We're excited! We're currently fitting out a new office at Steampacket House on Geelong's magnificent Waterfront, which will be completed by late April.
